Let me start by saying- wonderful location. In the heart of Oak Cliff- Bishop Arts District- very charming and right by another specialty restaurant VH Pho House so no competition there. Either you want something fried or you want soup.. This review will definitely be my invitation for people to come back into and support Oak Cliff. With all of the gentrification going on- I am definitely taking part in enjoying what my hometown has to offer. Oak Cliff has been known for far too long for negativity; crime, AIDS epidemic and a struggling school district- but no longer. Flew into Seattle- stayed for a night and drove to Vancouver. Wonderful trip! Very freeing for my mind and spirit. Places we ate: Zeeks Pizza- Seattle Rolls Kitchen- Sushi Vancouver Fat Burger- Yaletown Serious Pie- Seattle Ribs- Korean BBQ El Furniture Warehouse- Whistler Village (The donuts OMG) Grassroots Pizza- Whistler Village Nature is awesome- it constantly reminds me of God's greatness. The level of imagination, how everything works together, the beauty, the colors, the complexity and simplicity- seeing mountains up close and REAL SNOW! I am Texas born and bred so snow is a figment of our imagination we get slushed ice lol. Granville Island- wonderful shopping!! Cascadia soaps(purchased) made with goats milk and oils I bought like 5 bars! I love soap- weird...The fresh fudge, unwaxed apples! I was in market heaven. Awesome trip! I spent my weekend in LA and oh what a wonderful time I had. Port only cost like 10.00 there! I was in paradise literally- Long Beach not LA. But is it not wonderful to have friends in diff states- no hotel cost and free tour guide! OF course I went to Hollywood- I had to! Rolls Royce's and Bentley's everywhere- no wonder people dream big here- you see it on the daily basis and you want it!  I visited the LA County museum of art- some great collections- could not do it all in one day. Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles- of course I went! Now being from Dallas and all I wish the chicken tasted like Rudy's but hey everybody cannot put crack on the chicken lol. Unfortunately I am the person who can never make a decision right off. I have so many ideas and thoughts running through my head and there is never just one option. Why are there always so many options? There are options for everything and it kind of freaks me out. I am that person standing at the crossroad with basically 3 other directions to go besides the one you came from. Yeah that is where I am in life right now. I want to go everywhere and do everything besides what I have already done. At least going back is not an option and neither is staying where I am... I have to decide on something at sometime. Even the greatest of leaders suffer from indecision. I am afraid that my indecisiveness might lead into inaction which is unacceptable on any front. Update: I completed my 24 hours of solitude- which according to my friends is more than enough time to get over a breakup lol.  Upon completion- I have since ventured into the world of happy hours! Called up one of my sorors headed and headed to Plano. I figured that if I am to meet someone I must get out there. So I did.  Had a good time, not too much pressure on myself and just chilled out, did not try too hard and voila! 2 numbers and a possible date.   This morning while deciding to write this particular blog... I ran across a recent article about dating in dallas. It was quite true and entertaining. We have limited date night options besides eating- there are no beaches, mountains or lush green areas. Since we have to eat- most restaurants offer you the down home, southern fried, BBQ sauce dipped, tex-mex options in very large portions- talk about gaining weight if you are on the dating scene. Not to mention the guy that works in a call center making 15/hr ...

My most recent venture took me to the great lands of Greece and Turkey. It has always been a dream of mine to travel to the places I learn about in history class. To stand where the great philosophers stood, to see the ancient ruins and remember the legends of Zeus, Achilles, Poseidon, Dionysus and the others. It was magical. To see that great city of Athens where history was made, where Paul revealed to the Greeks who Jesus was and the "Unknown God" to view Mars Hill and see the Acropolis. Words cannot express the happiness I felt to be there in that moment.  Visited the islands of Crete,Mykonos, and Santorini.
